Pilates, a program created by Joseph and Clara Pilates (pictured right), is the original mind body exercise. It is combination of strength training, stretching and breathing for an overall, complete workout.
Pilates is great on its own but also complements other activities such as running, swimming, horseback riding or desk sitting. Because we pay close attention to form and alignment, with Pilates, all of your other every day movement feel more pleasant. We also welcome clients who are returning to exercise after an injury, prenatal/postpartum clients and clients who have concerns about bone density. Pilates is for everyone!
